You still care. You miss feeling close.

You talk about schedules, bills, and what needs doing. There’s less time to talk about each other.

John Buthorn offers personal coaching to help you look at how you listen, respond, and make room for the relationships that matter.

Sometimes the distance grows in everyday moments.

  • You’re together, but distracted. Work, phones, and responsibilities take the attention you want to give each other.
  • You fall into the same conversation. You get defensive, go quiet, or leave something important unsaid.
  • You give everyone else your energy. By the time you’re home, the people closest to you get what’s left.

Start with a moment you wish you had handled differently.

Make room to talk about what matters to you.

John is a husband, father of three, and Licensed Master Social Worker.

Before entering social work, he served in the Marines and built a career in NYPD investigations and leadership. He holds master’s degrees in Public Administration and Social Work.

His coaching focuses on your part in the interaction: what you notice, how you respond, and what you would like to do differently.

That might mean listening without preparing an answer, making a clearer request, or protecting time together.
